Friday, 2/3, 6:30 pm. Join us for our First Friday Family Shabbat when the Social Hall is filled with families celebrating Shabbat together. Rabbi Gottlieb partners with our new song leader Ricki Weintraub to lead us in a fun-filled musical Shabbat dinner and then service. Learning isn't just for kids at Congregation Beth Israel Judea. A wide range of regular and one-off programs provide plenty of opportunities for adults to learn more about Judaism and our Jewish culture and tradition.
A weekly Torah study group has met each Shabbat at 9:00AM before services, moving through the annual cycle of reading. No Hebrew is required and coffee and bagels are provided to keep the blood sugar up. A free-wheeling discussion is always found here.
