The Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 7:30pm on Friday night will welcome our honored out-of-town guests, including friends and family of Rabbi Gottlieb.
Rabbi Emma Gottlieb (our rabbi's daughter) will be sharing a D'var Torah and there will be special musical selections. We will also honor the Jewish War Veterans Post 688 on this Veterans Day Shabbat, and the Post is co-sponsoring the Oneg , where we'll have an opportunity to meet and schmooze with the guests.
Shabbat morning services at 10:00 am
Shabbat morning will begin at 9:00am with Torah Study led by Rabbi Jordon Goldson. Shabbat morning service will begin at 10:00am; Rabbi Gottlieb's installation will take place as a part of the Torah service. Long-time friend Rabbi Jordan Goldson of Congregation B'nai Israel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, will lead the installation ceremony.
A celebratory Kiddush luncheon will follow services.
