The Jan. meeting was held at the Jade Dragon Restaurant in Daly City and was a great success.
We had about 27 attendees and the camaraderie was outstanding...
Awards were given to Rabbi Glazer, Cantor Schwab, Ernest Rosenthal and several members
of the Post who are also members of BIJ.
David Morgenstern and family put on a wonderful show for the residents of the Jewish
Home . The Post sponsors a Chanukah Party annually at the Home, and this is the 5th year
that the Morgensterns have performed. The residents of the Home were thunderstruck by
the voices of David and Ariela and the magic piano of Inara. We made sure that everyone attending knew the Morgensterns were members of Cong. Beth Israel Judea
The next big event of the Post will be an August BBQ at Menlo Park VA.
The Post wants to thank the congregants of BIJ for putting up with us as ushers and greeters
for the High Holy Days. Your responses and cooperation made our job easy.
