**EXCITING UPDATE FROM THE ADULT EDUCATION COMMITTEE:
This Sunday, the Deputy Consul of Israel, will be arriving an hour before his scheduled talk for an interview with the press. The journalists will then stay to hear him speak, and afterwards they will approach people from our congregation to solicit their feedback and opinions on Mr. Khaldi and on the presentation he gave.
Blue Star PR, a public relations non-profit that works to improve the image of Israel in the public eye, is making available to us informational materials and a 12 minute-long DVD which documents a Jewish women's initiative in Israel to improve the economic standing of traditional Bedouin women. The film, called "Threads of Progress," will run continuously during the reception for people to watch if they wish.
