6:15PM Purim Seudah Feast
Did you know that it is a great mitzvah not only to drink but also to feast on Purim?
Yes indeed, Rabbi Rosalind says!
This year at BIJ, we will be enjoying a Purim Seudah (Feast) and Shabbat dinner on Friday night at 6:15 PM: a sumptuous meal of vegetarian lasagna, salad and garlic (challah) bread will be served up by our local kitchen whiz, Remi Klein.
Dinner will be followed by HILARIOUS Purim songs, a CRAZY Shabbat service and a RAUCOUS MEGILLAH reading, replete with jokes.
Come in costume, at least a hat, or if you cannot find one, be prepared to tell a family-appropriate joke!
Please bring your family's shabbat candlesticks.
BYOB, and if you drink, please arrange for a designated driver.
Dinner is $10-5 per person (sliding scale).
